I am a trauma-informed therapist working within the modalities of Interpersonal Neurobiology and IFS to help people move their stories forward. Clients most often see me for anxiety, depression, survival of childhood sexual abuse, emotional neglect and trauma, and religious trauma. I also see clients dealing with relationship issues, life transitions and crises, eating and sleeping problems, chronic pain, career/employment and executive leadership issues.
I am an Interpersonal Neurobiologist and IFS-informed therapist, working from a compassionate, trauma-informed lens. I support the healing and growth of my clients using a variety of
evidence-based techniques to address the root causes of their distress. I love the IFS model as it is an effective way to focus on these issues and aligns with my own values of hope, healing and non-violent intervention. As a Certified Professional Counselor licensed through the Professional Association of Christian Counselors and Psychotherapists, I work with people of all
faiths and no faith and am an LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner. I am located in sunny Winnipeg, Manitoba, and conduct sessions in-person, online and by phone. In addition to individual counseling, I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy and teach a workshop on managing anxiety. I am also available to students of IFS who would like to experience IFS therapy.
