Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Clinical Counsellor / Counselling Therapist

Hey, I’m Dez, a middle-aged therapist who loves helping people come back to themselves.

I don’t see my role as trying to fix you. Instead, I create a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and become curious about what’s happening inside. I love walking alongside people and being their number one fan along the journey. I also love Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use it nearly exclusively to help people understand the different parts of themselves with compassion rather than judgment.

I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor, but I’m also a husband, father of five daughters, a grandfather, I have a faith background, and am someone who has lived through plenty of life’s ups and downs. I grew up on a farm, now live on Vancouver Island, and love getting out on my motorcycle or hiking in the woods. I bring warmth, safety, humour, honesty, and a genuine curiosity about people into my work.

I believe there is more to you than the things you’ve had to carry, and therapy can be a place to rediscover it.
